Canada Jasper

With the outstanding skiing and snowboarding at Jasper's Marmot Basin, the wonderful scenery and the friendly people, you could be looking at the winter sports holiday of a lifetime! This area is renowned for some of the most gorgeous mountain scenery in the world. The town of Jasper, Alberta, offers all that we have come to expect of a world class resort yet it has managed to preserve a small-town feeling and is cosy and compact.

Marmot Basin is set amidst the beautiful Jasper National Park, Canada's biggest Rocky Mountain park, just 20 minutes south of Jasper. The scenery is most spectacular in the winter - elks move through the lowlands and waterfalls are suspended, frozen in time. Marmot Basin offers more than 1,000 acres of uncrowded alpine terrain for every level of skier and snowboarder - powder, moguls, trees, alpine bowls and gentle slopes.

The spectacular scenery, variety of skiing and professionalism of local suppliers make this resort our firm favourite. The area has fine, natural conditions and queues are virtually unknown even at the busiest times. Jasper is particularly excellent for Easter skiing, with plenty of natural snow and warmer temperatures.
